In the 25thth minute of the game Edwin Cardona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anjullan's Raimundo Ignazio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 64 played minutes Anjullan got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Johans. In the 65th minute, Anjullan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edwin Cardona fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Edwin Cardona did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Raimundo Ignazio 75 minutes into the match. Raul Fliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raul Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Ignazio having to interfere. Edwin Cardona scored 0-9 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Ignazio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raul Fliz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Ignazio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. With his leg Raimundo Ignazio managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Guaymallén's Edwin Cardona fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match was over Guaymallén could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Anjullan throughout the match.
