Saverio Guillelme's late challenge caught a Gimnasia y Esgrima Mdza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saverio Guillelme helped the player get up and apologised. Saverio Guillelme hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Bernardino Peli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Gabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernardino Peli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amancio Gabino. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Eusebio Solustiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Playo having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Saverio Guillelme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TaLaDro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 34th minute, Börje Bark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Aaron Turi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amancio Gabino. The goal made the score 2-1. The supporters of Gimnasia y Esgrima Mdza booed when TaLaDro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Iratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aaron Turi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Florentino Bernabel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amancio Gabino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Laurin in the 88th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Gimnasia y Esgrima Mdza players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
