Anjullan's Raimundo Ignazio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Bero in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Bero made the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Ignazio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Bero in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Bero in the 71st minute of play forced Anjullan's goalkeeper Raimundo Ignazio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Anjullan's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Bero came free, but Raimundo Ignazio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Salamon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Ignazio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Raimundo Ignazio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Bero, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Leon Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Ignazio having to interfere. Eustaquio Teofilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Oidor having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Gonzalez Catan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
