Spectators: 7181 (Terracing: 5388, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Placido Stephen started the match with the kick off. If Eustaquio Teofilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Petri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Bidari in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Anjullan's Alejo Erdiano got a free kick in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Anjullan's goalkeeper Raimundo Ignazio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Odon. Augusto Petri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Erdiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 39th minute Iker Bidari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Petri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iker Bidari to strike the kick off in the second half. Simon Odon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Raimundo Ignazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iker Bidari was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Anjullan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 73rd play minute Eustaquio Teofilio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Augusto Petri. 0-1. A collision led to Anjullan getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Alejo Erdiano hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Lázaro Ieltxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Iker Bidari came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Anjullan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Bidari couldn't finish the play. Anjullan played a much better game than Azcurra AFC and deserved their victory. The Azcurra AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
