Rareș Dobrea made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Leon Salamon sent off a good shot on target. Baldomero Oidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Cardona in the 22nd minute of play. Raul Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Oidor having to interfere. Vladimiro Ignatius struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Baldomero Oidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaymallén. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Raul Fliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaymallén's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Fliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Oidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Edwin Cardona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Oidor was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When Raul Fliz came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Guaymallén fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Fliz couldn't finish the play.

After a defensive mix-up in Guaymallén's zone, Nemesio Abechuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rareș Dobrea came out of the goal and Nemesio Abechuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Oidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Fliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Edwin Cardona made a precise shot to the right of Baldomero Oidor. Gonzalez Catan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 74th match minute, Gonzalez Catan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Abechuco to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th play minute Edwin Cardona came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Baldomero Oidor. 0-4. Guaymallén's Rareș Dobrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Salamon in the 81st minute of play. Fulgencio Gotzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Oidor having to interfere. Enzo Kepa hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th match minute, Gonzalez Catan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Soter to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Fulgencio Gotzon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gonzalez Catan's goalkeeper Baldomero Oidor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Gonzalez Catan's goalkeeper Baldomero Oidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwin Cardona.
