Andres Loco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Emiliano Cheche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9thth minute of the game Andres Loco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but boquita's Emiliano Cheche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 played minutes Millonarios got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Rolado. After some careless play in the Millonarios defense, Antonio Cordarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Araoz. The Millonarios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Araoz should have stopped the shot. After having played for 16 minutes, Andres Loco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Millonarios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Loco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Augusto Chorache was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. boquita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Millonarios the free kick. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind boquita's goalkeeper Emiliano Cheche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adan Salamon hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Emiliano Cheche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Honrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Justino Honrio might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Cheche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justino Honrio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th play minute Antonio Cordarin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lucas Araoz. 2-0. In the 42nd minute, Israel Bilbo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Araoz was a little too slow when Israel Bilbo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Israel Bilbo was the one to do the kick off. Millonarios's Andres Loco got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Araoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Bilbo in the 61st minute of the match. Erasmo Rolado's late challenge caught a boquita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Rolado helped the player get up and apologised. Erasmo Rolado kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Emiliano Cheche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Honrio in the 64th minute of the match. When Andres Loco came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Millonarios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Loco couldn't finish the play. Andres Loco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Cheche having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Andres Loco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Millonarios and the boquita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andres Loco kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Andres Loco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th match minute, boquita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Salamon to maneuver through the defense. Millonarios's Andres Loco got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Mauricio Chago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millonarios's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Chago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Cheche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Millonarios's Lucas Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Cordarin in the 83rd minute of play. Ricardo Leocadio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucas Araoz. Millonarios's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Adan Salamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th match minute, Millonarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Sadurni to maneuver through the defense. boquita's Tiburcio Calixto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Millonarios. Justino Honrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. boquita had won after a very even match.
