Spectators: 7072 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Aurelio Raymond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Oso's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Aquilino Oso sped through Chacabuco's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aurelio Raymond. 11 minutes into the match, Chacabuco's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Oso came free, but Aurelio Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niceto Eguzki kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Emiliano Petri, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquilino Oso in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Raymond prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Aquilino Oso came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Oso couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Raymond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Ugutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Independiente's Igor Sal got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Chacabuco's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Oso came free, but Aurelio Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Odol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Ralondo in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Independiente's Iker Ugutz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Raymond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Aquilino Oso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34thth minute of the game Iker Ugutz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacabuco's Aurelio Raymond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Aquilino Oso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Iker Ugutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Ugutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Raymond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Sal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Independiente were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iker Ugutz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Iker Ugutz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacabuco's Aurelio Raymond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Chacabuco's Adolfo Sanduru got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute, Bruno Ralondo made a precise shot to the right of Hector Odol. Independiente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After 62 minutes, Igor Sal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente and the Chacabuco players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chacabuco booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Sal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Blasi came free, but Hector Odol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Iker Ugutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Odol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Sanduru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Emiliano Petri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Emiliano Petri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Petri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aurelio Raymond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Oso, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 80th match minute, Chacabuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Sanduru to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Raymond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Sal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Igor Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chacabuco's Aurelio Raymond proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Chacabuco from getting a goal against them. Independiente's Emiliano Petri got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Raymond came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Igor Sal. But to his dismay, Igor Sal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. In the 94th minute Igor Sal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Independiente's Emiliano Petri got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
