The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Poncio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Celestino Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Gaufred having to interfere. Celestino Chan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristobal Gaufred read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match Desiderio Chico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristobal Gaufred showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Instituto Plate's Cristobal Gaufred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Garaona in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Chan in the 65th minute of play forced Instituto Plate's goalkeeper Cristobal Gaufred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ignacio Iliana came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Instituto Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Iliana couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Ignacio Iliana got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Poncio in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ildefonso Olayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frankito United's Ildefonso Olayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Frankito United from getting a goal against them. Santiago Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Instituto Plate's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
