The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Odol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aquilino Oso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Igor Sal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15thth minute of the game Iker Ugutz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but boquita's Emiliano Cheche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hector Odol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Salamon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, boquita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Calixto to maneuver through the defense. Adan Salamon charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adan Salamon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, boquita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Salamon to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute Aquilino Oso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Israel Bilbo was the one to do the kick off. Emiliano Cheche stood somewhat misplaced when Iker Ugutz came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 51 minute. In the 55th minute, Independiente's Iker Ugutz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emiliano Cheche. The supporters of Independiente booed when boquita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Leocadio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Emiliano Petri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Emiliano Cheche managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Independiente's Aquilino Oso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Independiente's Hector Odol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Natanael in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Iker Ugutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Ugutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Cheche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiliano Cheche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Ugutz in the 84th minute of play. Igor Sal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. boquita's Emiliano Cheche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save boquita from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the game, Omar Natanael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. boquita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente the free kick. After 88 played minutes boquita got a freekick which was hit by Omar Natanael. Emiliano Cheche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Ugutz in the 89th minute of the match. Emiliano Cheche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Ugutz in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Independiente could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than boquita throughout the match.
