Adolfo Sanduru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Loco in the 5th minute of the match. After 9 minutes, Pablo Sadurni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Millonarios and the Chacabuco players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Fabian Blasi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Millonarios's Lucas Araoz didn't even have to move. Lucas Araoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Ralondo in the 12th minute of play. Lucas Araoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Ralondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Roland might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Araoz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Roland ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Araoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Ralondo in the 21st minute of the match. Andres Loco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Raymond having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Loco in the 27th minute of play forced Chacabuco's goalkeeper Aurelio Raymond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Araoz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Roland in the 30th minute. Bruno Ralondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lucas Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Chacabuco got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Sanduru. In the 41st minute Justino Honrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Millonarios's goalkeeper Lucas Araoz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Roland. Andres Loco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Aurelio Raymond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Ralondo to make the kick off. A collision led to Chacabuco getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Eustacio Soter hit a great ball. When Andres Loco came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Millonarios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Loco couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Raymond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Honrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. During the 68th minute of the match Eustacio Soter completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eustacio Soter a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 69th minute, Eustacio Soter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Loco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aurelio Raymond firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 71st match minute, Millonarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Rolado to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Roland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chacabuco's Aurelio Raymond proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Chacabuco from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Andres Loco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millonarios's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Loco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Raymond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Roland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Bruno Ralondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Loco got free with Aurelio Raymond in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Millonarios's Justino Honrio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aurelio Raymond. That made the score 1-1 after 99 minutes of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
