Pasión Villera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Shepherd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Godofredo Lauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ildefonso Olayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godofredo Lauro in the 34th minute. The supporters of Pasión Villera booed when Frankito United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Misael didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Ezequiel Artizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ildefonso Olayo came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pasión Villera's Eriberto Cebrian. But to his dismay, Eriberto Cebrian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

Pasión Villera's Damian Shepherd got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pasión Villera's Godofredo Lauro got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 60 played minutes Frankito United got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Misael. Ildefonso Olayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Illart, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Celestino Chan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eustacio Emmanuel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelo Cibran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Emmanuel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Frankito United's zone, Eriberto Cebrian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Olayo came out of the goal and Eriberto Cebrian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justo Illart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Olayo having to interfere. Eriberto Cebrian came free in the 90th minute and tried to tip the ball over Ildefonso Olayo, but to the joy of Frankito United's supporters the ball went over. After 92 played minutes Frankito United got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Salomon. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pasión Villera players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
