After a rather tough play, Salta La Banca FC's Baldomero Fero got a free kick in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Salta La Banca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Honrio came free, but Remigio Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Jonas Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salta La Banca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Baristo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Leonel Oxarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justino Honrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Millonarios's Lucas Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Baristo in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justino Honrio in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remigio Flor saved Salta La Banca FC from getting behind. A collision led to Salta La Banca FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Baldomero Fero hit a great ball. Justino Honrio struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Remigio Flor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Millonarios. Andres Loco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Remigio Flor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Remigio Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Honrio in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Honrio in the 39th minute of play forced Salta La Banca FC's goalkeeper Remigio Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Jonas Baristo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Araoz. Millonarios's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Baristo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Oxarra to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucas Araoz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonas Baristo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Estevon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salta La Banca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Millonarios the free kick. The supporters of Millonarios booed when Salta La Banca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Estevon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Baristo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Lucas Araoz made a huge save. Jonas Baristo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Millonarios getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Valentin Porfiro hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Baristo got free with Lucas Araoz in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucas Araoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Oxarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Justino Honrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remigio Flor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Justino Honrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Loco in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remigio Flor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute Leonel Oxarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Araoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salta La Banca FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
