The supporters of Frankito United booed when Salta La Banca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Rutenio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celestino Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Flor having to interfere. Remigio Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Salomon in the 19th minute of play. Leonel Oxarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ildefonso Olayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Baristo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Olayo having to interfere. In the 30th minute Ezequiel Artizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Oxarra made a kick off. Leonel Oxarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ildefonso Olayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salta La Banca FC's Leonel Oxarra got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ildefonso Olayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Baristo in the 58th minute. Celestino Chan scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remigio Flor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jonas Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Justino Inautzi fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frankito United's protests and gave Justino Inautzi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute Diego Garaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Frankito United's Ildefonso Olayo got control of the ball when Jonas Baristo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jonas Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salta La Banca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Baristo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Olayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Celestino Chan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
