Antonio Cordarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ildefonso Olayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celestino Chan took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Cheche. Emiliano Cheche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Celestino Chan struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Emiliano Cheche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frankito United. After a defensive mix-up in Frankito United's zone, Antonio Cordarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Olayo came out of the goal and Antonio Cordarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Israel Bilbo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Garaona in the 57th minute of play forced boquita's goalkeeper Emiliano Cheche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Garaona in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emiliano Cheche, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Emiliano Cheche was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ezequiel Artizar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 62 minute of play. Frankito United's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Garaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Cheche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Frankito United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Frankito United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
