Timoteo Benet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niceto Thomas. CHILALO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 10 played minutes Bocayuva got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Cisco. Emilio Bemabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Arsenio Gabirel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of CHILALO FC booed when Bocayuva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Paulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bocayuva's Arsenio Gabirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Bihar in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, CHILALO FC's Emilio Bemabe made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arsenio Gabirel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, Arsenio Urbes made a precise shot to the right of Niceto Thomas. CHILALO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Arsenio Gabirel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Bihar in the 32nd minute of play. Arsenio Urbes's late challenge caught a CHILALO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Benat in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Thomas saved CHILALO FC from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Ulises Sal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CHILALO FC's Niceto Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Benat in the 49th minute of play. After the first half Bocayuva were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Bemabe made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Claudio Bartolome mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CHILALO FC and the Bocayuva players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claudio Bartolome hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Valentin Benat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Bocayuva supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bocayuva would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
