The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Americo Ursino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillermo Danel in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Americo Ursino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Guillermo Danel came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Niupi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Danel couldn't finish the play. Dario Ticho in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgardo Taurino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniel Chorache hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Americo Ursino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Danel's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Edgardo Taurino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dario Ticho went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Danel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Americo Ursino was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Homero's goalkeeper Americo Ursino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herminio Ler in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Americo Ursino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Ler in the 37th minute of play forced Homero's goalkeeper Americo Ursino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Homero's Americo Ursino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Ler in the 39th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Guillermo Danel made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Homero's Americo Ursino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 45 minutes of play, Niupi FC's Guillermo Danel made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Americo Ursino was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Niupi FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoro Gizon was the one to do the kick off. Americo Ursino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Ler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Taurino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Gizon went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Guillermo Danel scored 2-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Americo Ursino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ruperto Bernat fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Homero's protests and gave Ruperto Bernat a yellow card for diving instead. Ruperto Bernat kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Americo Ursino was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Chorache. With a little luck, Homero's Americo Ursino got control of the ball when Guillermo Danel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Homero's Dario Ticho in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Niupi FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Guillermo Danel put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Americo Ursino. A collision led to Homero getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Juan Hunfredo hit a great ball. Edgardo Taurino came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Homero's Dario Ticho. But to his dismay, Dario Ticho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. The referee felt a red card was in order, 96 minutes into the game, when Ruperto Bernat put in a rough tackle. 96 minutes into the game, one of Homero:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, Niupi FC's Daniel Chorache got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Americo Ursino. The Homero supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Niupi FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Niupi FC.
