Cesar Goren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37thth minute of the game Lucio Benino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but flores sud's Cesar Goren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Anselmo Beturian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aston Vilas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Beturian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Aston Vilas FC booed when flores sud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Lucio Benino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Aston Vilas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Tavio came free, but Haroldo Paul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
