Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zacarias Aresti started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, one of Rossi AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rossi AFC. Carmelo Mitxel might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natalio Lauaxeta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Mitxel ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Vela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Natalio Lauaxeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Rossi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Vela came free, but Natalio Lauaxeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Luke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Dennis Sundberg made a huge save. In the 25th minute Joel Vela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Lauaxeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Luke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natalio Lauaxeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Vela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hector Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Osorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justo Oliveiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dennis Sundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Per Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Rossi AFC's Hector Luke dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Vela to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Rossi AFC's Justo Oliveiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Sundberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Rossi AFC booed when EL ROJO TUCUMANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Orlandus didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Rossi AFC's goalkeeper Natalio Lauaxeta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Mitxel. After 62 played minutes Rossi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Justo Oliveiro. In the 63rd minute of the match Per Bergström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natalio Lauaxeta skillfully saved the ball. If Hector Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. EL ROJO TUCUMANO's Carmelo Mitxel got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Vela in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natalio Lauaxeta saved Rossi AFC from getting behind. After 72 played minutes Rossi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Justo Oliveiro. With a little luck, Rossi AFC's Natalio Lauaxeta got control of the ball when Carmelo Mitxel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hector Luke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rossi AFC's Elias Baumer got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 80 played minutes EL ROJO TUCUMANO got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Goizeder. Natalio Lauaxeta made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Carmelo Mitxel sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, EL ROJO TUCUMANO's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Luke came free, but Dennis Sundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Carmelo Mitxel came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the EL ROJO TUCUMANO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Mitxel couldn't finish the play. Rossi AFC's Natalio Lauaxeta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Rossi AFC from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Rossi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Vela came free, but Natalio Lauaxeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rossi AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while EL ROJO TUCUMANO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
