Cristobal Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Kaxen having to interfere. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Odini Norte's goalkeeper Ciro Kaxen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the AC Macerata defense, Juan Dolcet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Cordeiro. The AC Macerata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Cordeiro should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the game, AC Macerata's Marcial Dolfo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Kaxen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dario Uzuri kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Leon Qwinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Qwinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Leon Qwinton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marcial Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Enrique Normando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Qwinton in the 46th minute of play forced AC Macerata's goalkeeper Raimundo Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Dolcet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd minute Marcial Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Kaxen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Qwinton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Raimundo Cordeiro made a huge save. The supporters of AC Macerata booed when Odini Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Garoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Juan Dolcet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Odini Norte's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Dolcet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raimundo Cordeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leon Qwinton went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 84 minutes into the match, Cristobal Escobar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Kaxen. Odini Norte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristobal Escobar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
