Spectators: 6671 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juan Dolcet got the match started through his kick off. Rodolfo Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Constancio in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Kaxen saved Odini Norte from getting behind. Roberto Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mixto's Roberto Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Kaxen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epifanio Constancio's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. If Juan Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Kaxen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Franco in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Odini Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Constancio came free, but Ciro Kaxen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Constancio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Qwinton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Ponce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Odini Norte's zone, Epifanio Constancio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Kaxen came out of the goal and Epifanio Constancio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Marco Goito fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Odini Norte's protests and gave Marco Goito a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mixto booed when Odini Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Goito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Epifanio Constancio to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Mixto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Bladi to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Odini Norte's goalkeeper Ciro Kaxen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Odini Norte defense, Epifanio Constancio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Kaxen. The Odini Norte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Kaxen should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd match minute, Mixto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Pacorro to maneuver through the defense. Leon Qwinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Ponce having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Odini Norte's Leon Qwinton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Ponce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Ponce having to interfere. If Roberto Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Roberto Franco made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Kaxen. Odini Norte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Apolo Ponce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Dolcet in the 90th minute of play. Leon Qwinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
