When Octavio Isias came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Olascoaga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Isias couldn't finish the play. Cipriano Osorio hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Octavio Isias struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Cipriano Indartsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olascoaga FC. In the 16th minute, Godfredo Fonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Zeledon Amor took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cipriano Indartsu to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Rocca's Silverio Montez got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Eduardo Quinton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Deportivo Rocca's Cipriano Indartsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Isias in the 34th minute of play. Silverio Montez hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Olascoaga FC's Godfredo Fonso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cipriano Indartsu. Cipriano Indartsu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octavio Isias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Godfredo Fonso took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cipriano Indartsu. Cipriano Indartsu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The audience was convinced that Octavio Isias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cipriano Indartsu was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Rocca's zone, Godfredo Fonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Indartsu came out of the goal and Godfredo Fonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Deportivo Rocca booed when Olascoaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Fonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimiro Orlanda lost his temper 65 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Odilon couldn't finish the play. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
