Olascoaga FC's Eduardo Quinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Pacorro in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Urtats in the 34th minute of play forced Mixto's goalkeeper Apolo Ponce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavio Isias in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Ponce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 38 played minutes Olascoaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Fonso. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Isias made a kick off. Eduardo Quinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mixto getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jeronimo Marcones hit a great ball. Olascoaga FC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 58th minute of the game, when Cipriano Osorio after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Mixto's goal. In the 60th match minute, Olascoaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Osorio to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Mixto defense, Raimundo Urtats kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apolo Ponce. The Mixto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apolo Ponce should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Isias in the 67th minute of play forced Mixto's goalkeeper Apolo Ponce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
