Lino Veremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Erramu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Narciso Sayvion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Sayvion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Mazuste having to interfere. If Domingos Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Sayvion received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Melquiades Mazuste came out and tried to block the shot, but Narciso Sayvion slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 35th minute. Damaso Erramu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingos Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Mazuste prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute Narciso Sayvion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Mazuste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Melquiades Mazuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Nuno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melquiades Mazuste. Balcozna AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Balcozna AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
