Moreira AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mixto the free kick. A collision led to Moreira AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Felix Sidoro hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Mixto's goalkeeper Apolo Ponce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Ofelio. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Narciso Sayvion made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Epifanio Constancio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lino Veremundo, 1-2. Narciso Sayvion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roberto Franco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lino Veremundo having to make a save. Lino Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Constancio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Roberto Franco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Lino Veremundo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Moreira AFC's goalie Lino Veremundo was quick on his feet when Roberto Franco aimed and made a shot towards the top left corner. The goalie picked down the ball without great difficulties. Domingos Ofelio struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Apolo Ponce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moreira AFC.
