Antonio Argoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Dolfo in the 18th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Luis Guillon Futbol Club defense, Cristobal Escobar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Argoitz. The Luis Guillon Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Argoitz should have stopped the shot. The shot was stopped by Raimundo Cordeiro but with some difficulty. Luis Guillon Futbol Club's Antonio Argoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Dolfo in the 32nd minute of play. Erasmo Peruxu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raimundo Cordeiro. AC Macerata's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Serafino Cordarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafino Cordarius was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Raimundo Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Gauargi, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. AC Macerata's Raimundo Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Cordarius in the 67th minute of play. After 68 played minutes AC Macerata got a freekick which was hit by Dario Uzuri. After 71 played minutes Luis Guillon Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Oxarra. Raimundo Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Cordarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Gauargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Raimundo Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Macerata's Cristobal Escobar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antonio Argoitz. That made the score 0-3 after 81 minutes of play. After 90th play minutes Serafino Cordarius shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Raimundo Cordeiro and just under the crossbar into goal. Antonio Argoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Barto in the 95th minute. The Luis Guillon Futbol Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AC Macerata's performance. The match ended with a win for AC Macerata.
