Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silvio Senon took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes, La podrida FC's Gogo Sadurni shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cayetano Ponce came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La podrida FC reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Iyan in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Ponce saved Viamonte AFC from getting behind. Cayetano Ponce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Iyan in the 7th minute of the match. Filiberto Iyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Ponce having to interfere. Adam Nicolaescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Senon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Avellaneda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Ponce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Filiberto Iyan struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Cayetano Ponce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La podrida FC. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Adam Nicolaescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 39 minutes, Jaime Camerino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viamonte AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Camerino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to La podrida FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Americo Abarca hit a great ball. After 46 minutes, Rene Foro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viamonte AFC and the La podrida FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Hernan Bonadona managed to get in a good position for a shot. La podrida FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Bonadona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Ponce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filiberto Iyan to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Senon in the 69th minute of play forced La podrida FC's goalkeeper Adam Nicolaescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Americo Abarca's late challenge caught a Viamonte AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Americo Abarca helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La podrida FC's Americo Abarca got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Jaime Camerino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Adam Nicolaescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 played minutes La podrida FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Lazcano. A collision led to Viamonte AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Faustino Ostadar hit a great ball. Adam Nicolaescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Senon, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 89 minutes of play, Viamonte AFC's Jaime Camerino made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Nicolaescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viamonte AFC's Cayetano Ponce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Iyan in the 95th minute of play. Jaime Camerino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Adam Nicolaescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
