The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeremias Fernanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Jobo having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Malanzán's Marcos Nofre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Jobo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baldomiro Ortzi kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Tobias Asur hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The supporters of Malanzán booed when Blue & White was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Maore didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Blue & White's zone, Jeremias Fernanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Jobo came out of the goal and Jeremias Fernanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermengildo Dubardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Jobo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Dubardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeremias Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the game, Malanzán's Marcos Nofre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Jobo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 36th minute, German Lonzo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Natalio Cordaro. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blue & White's goalkeeper Rafael Jobo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Blue & White's zone, Tobias Asur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Jobo came out of the goal and Tobias Asur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Tobias Asur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Unax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Jobo having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeremias Fernanco to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jeremias Fernanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malanzán's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Fernanco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Jobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the game, Eduardo Vitin threw the ball into play from the sideline. In the 65th minute, Jeremias Fernanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Maore during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernando Maore hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Jeremias Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blue & White's Rafael Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Fernanco in the 75th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Nofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Jobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Fernanco in the 87th minute of the match. Hermengildo Dubardo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. German Lonzo charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Lonzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Malanzán booed when Blue & White was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Lonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malanzán's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
