With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Fernanco in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albino Lidon saved La Piedra from getting behind. Marcos Nofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Lidon having to interfere. In the 10thth minute of the game Jeremias Fernanco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Piedra's Albino Lidon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 14 played minutes Jeremias Fernanco rounded La Piedra's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Marcos Nofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Lidon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Luken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albino Lidon was a little too slow when Jeremias Fernanco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Fernanco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albino Lidon was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Piedra's goalkeeper Albino Lidon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Hermengildo Dubardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Jeremias Fernanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Lucero was the one to do the kick off. If Jeremias Fernanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Fernanco might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albino Lidon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremias Fernanco ran back to his position shaking his head. Malanzán's Hermengildo Dubardo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lucio Chus, made in the 64th minute of the game. Carmelo Goizeder's late challenge caught a Malanzán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Goizeder helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to La Piedra getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Carmelo Goizeder hit a great ball. Jeremias Fernanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, La Piedra's Julio Vedillo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Malanzán's Eriberto Mergildo suffered a sore thigh after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Malanzán booed when La Piedra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Lauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Unax recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Augusto Luken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jeremias Fernanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malanzán's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Fernanco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Lidon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobias Asur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, La Piedra's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Fernanco came free, but Albino Lidon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Goizeder got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to La Piedra getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Carmelo Goizeder hit a great ball. Malanzán walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
