Korkut Özver was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Blue & White's zone, Edgard Gimenez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Jobo came out of the goal and Edgard Gimenez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Blue & White were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when German Lonzo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Korkut Özver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Lonzo in the 53rd minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Blue & White's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Gimenez came free, but Rafael Jobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Narciso Laffitte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Jobo. Blue & White's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Laffitte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Narciso Laffitte scored 2-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Jobo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Filomeno Emmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korkut Özver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Lonzo in the 81st minute of play. Narciso Laffitte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
