The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La Máquina getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Candido Manilan hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angel Lucero in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Argenis saved La Máquina from getting behind. Celestino Argenis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Ponce, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Angel Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Lucero was the one to do the kick off. Angel Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Argenis having to interfere. After 57 played minutes La Máquina got a freekick which was hit by Candido Manilan. 58 minutes into the match, La Máquina's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Lucero came free, but Celestino Argenis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of La Máquina booed when La Piedra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Lucero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Lidon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Tuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Clemente Herensuge scored 1-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albino Lidon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carmelo Goizeder charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Goizeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Piedra's Carmelo Goizeder got a free kick in the 70th minute. When La Máquina's Clemente Herensuge in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Piedra's goalie prevented a goal. Celestino Argenis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lucio Chus. Candido Manilan was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Ladislao Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Piedra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Ponce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ladislao Ponce received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celestino Argenis came out and tried to block the shot, but Ladislao Ponce slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 81st minute. If Angel Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Ladislao Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Piedra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Ponce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Lucero might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celestino Argenis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Lucero ran back to his position shaking his head.
