Placido Matxin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Lastur in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Garré AFC's Isaac Estebe got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Santiago Tonio fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ※Patolaus Football Club※'s protests and gave Santiago Tonio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ※Patolaus Football Club※ getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Santiago Tonio hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Vinicio Beturian fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Placido Matxin, passed just outside the right post. Vinicio Beturian struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Placido Matxin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garré AFC. The supporters of Garré AFC booed when ※Patolaus Football Club※ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Asur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Vinicio Beturian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ※Patolaus Football Club※'s Erasmo Maurin got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Garré AFC's Modesto Gabino got a free kick in the 27th minute. Erasmo Maurin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Monte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Giro having to interfere. Santiago Cesaro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Silvestre Giro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Monte's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Vinicio Beturian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Placido Matxin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Garré AFC's Vinicio Beturian in the 42nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Placido Matxin was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for ※Patolaus Football Club※ through an amazing save. Efrain Lastur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Placido Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Garré AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benito Monte fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Benito Monte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Silvestre Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Maurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Giro having to interfere. Silvestre Giro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Benito Monte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. A collision led to ※Patolaus Football Club※ getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Inocencio Elazar hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Monte got free with Silvestre Giro in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santiago Tonio made a great header on ※Patolaus Football Club※'s corner, it was just that Garré AFC's Silvestre Giro managed to reach the ball for a save. If Efrain Lastur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Matxin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efrain Lastur's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
