Hilario Martxot hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Persistentes y Osados's Epifanio Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Javiar in the 8th minute of play. Evaristo Jurdan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Chiliman having to make a save. In the 14th minute, Evaristo Jurdan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Evaristo Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Chiliman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Jurdan in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emanuel Chiliman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Persistentes y Osados's Evaristo Jurdan got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Chiliman made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Evaristo Jurdan sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th match minute, Persistentes y Osados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Laurentzi to maneuver through the defense. Teobaldo Laurentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Chiliman having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Evaristo Jurdan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Epifanio Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Javiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evaristo Jurdan made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, one of Chipiscú AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some careless play in the Chipiscú AFC defense, Evaristo Jurdan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Chiliman. The Chipiscú AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Chiliman should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute, Jonas Telesforo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Carlos Javiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Roldan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Jurdan in the 68th minute of play forced Chipiscú AFC's goalkeeper Emanuel Chiliman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Martxot lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Persistentes y Osados's Hilario Martxot got a free kick in the 70th minute. Angelino Baldovino struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Epifanio Roldan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chipiscú AFC. In the 73rd minute, Angelino Baldovino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador Clemencin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Persistentes y Osados's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Carlos Javiar scored to the left of an out of position Epifanio Roldan, making the score, 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezequiel Joey during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Chipiscú AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Joey to maneuver through the defense. If Patricio Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee showed Cayetano Calvino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emanuel Chiliman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Telesforo in the 99th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Persistentes y Osados players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
