In the 9th minute Florencio Olo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Persistentes y Osados's Lázaro Conrao got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evaristo Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Gilen having to interfere. Evaristo Jurdan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Evaristo Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Navarro got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Cordarrol. 24 minutes into the match, Evaristo Jurdan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucio Gilen. Navarro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evaristo Jurdan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 29th minute, Evaristo Jurdan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucio Gilen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 34 minutes into the match, Persistentes y Osados's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Olo came free, but Epifanio Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Jonas Telesforo sped through Navarro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucio Gilen. In the 39th minute, Evaristo Jurdan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evaristo Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Gilen having to interfere. Evaristo Jurdan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Jurdan in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Gilen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
52 minutes into the match, Navarro's goalkeeper Lucio Gilen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Jurdan. If Evaristo Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Gilen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salvador Clemencin went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, Persistentes y Osados's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Garikoitz came free, but Epifanio Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Costante in the 61st minute of play forced Persistentes y Osados's goalkeeper Epifanio Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Persistentes y Osados's Epifanio Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Garikoitz in the 64th minute of play. Persistentes y Osados's Evaristo Jurdan got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Basilio Intxixu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Persistentes y Osados's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Intxixu came free, but Epifanio Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basilio Intxixu's late challenge caught a Persistentes y Osados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basilio Intxixu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Navarro's Basilio Intxixu got a free kick in the 75th minute. Lucio Gilen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Conrao in the 79th minute of the match. Epifanio Roldan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Costante, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Epifanio Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Olo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Evaristo Jurdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Persistentes y Osados fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Epifanio Roldan had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Hipolito Alonso's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 97 minutes, Benedicto Maore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Navarro and the Persistentes y Osados players grew even worse after the yellow card. Persistentes y Osados made a substitution. Amado Ostargi replaced Evaristo Jurdan. In the 96th minute, one of Navarro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Navarro. The referee gave Persistentes y Osados a penalty, 100 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Salvador Clemencin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Navarro's Lucio Gilen. 1-5. Persistentes y Osados played a much better game than Navarro and deserved their victory. The Navarro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
