When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Florencio Olo sped through Naranja Mecanica F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lino Chucho. 14 minutes into the game, Navarro's Ciro Garikoitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lino Chucho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 16th minute, Basilio Intxixu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Ciro Garikoitz sped through Naranja Mecanica F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lino Chucho. Florencio Olo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Lino Chucho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Chucho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Olo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Chucho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Garikoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Tobias Jaunzuria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Lucio Gilen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Chucho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Olo in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Navarro were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Henrico to strike the kick off in the second half. Joel Caitano hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 1-4 became the score in the 56th minute when Florencio Olo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lucio Gilen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Jaunzuria went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. When Ciro Garikoitz came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Navarro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Garikoitz couldn't finish the play. Lino Chucho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Olo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Florencio Olo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Florencio Olo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lino Chucho came out and tried to block the shot, but Florencio Olo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 82nd minute. 89 minutes into the match, Navarro's Ciro Garikoitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lino Chucho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lino Chucho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Costante in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Olo in the 93rd minute of play forced Naranja Mecanica F.C.'s goalkeeper Lino Chucho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Navarro's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
