The goal made the score 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Arraga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Gombal came free, but Benito Elodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Arraga FC got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Ederono. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Enrique Gergori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plate Asce FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Gergori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Elodio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severiano Gombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Elodio having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Arraga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Gombal came free, but Benito Elodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Plate Asce FC's Severiano Gombal was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Rene Elorri struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Teodoro Hermelando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arraga FC. Benito Elodio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Gergori in the 45th minute. When Plate Asce FC's Severiano Gombal in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arraga FC's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severiano Gombal was the one to do the kick off. The corner led Arraga FC's Arsenio Estevon to fire away a dangerous shot which Teodoro Hermelando despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Benito Elodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Gergori in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Rey in the 61st minute of play forced Arraga FC's goalkeeper Benito Elodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Enrique Gergori came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Plate Asce FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Gergori couldn't finish the play. Fulgencio Criston's late challenge caught a Plate Asce FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Criston helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Arraga FC's Fulgencio Criston got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arraga FC's goalkeeper Benito Elodio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Plate Asce FC's zone, Rene Elorri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Hermelando came out of the goal and Rene Elorri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rene Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Hermelando having to interfere. Benito Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Gergori in the 81st minute of play. In the 90th minute, Patricio Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Elorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rene Elorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Plate Asce FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arraga FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
