An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Chale in the 16th minute of play forced Luanco's goalkeeper Anibal Xacintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Anibal Xacintu managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Talleres de Cba's Delmiro Gaskon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
