The crowd rose to their feet as Nicasio Nesto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Feliberto Pio. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Romulo Mouricio struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Bernabe Ruy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ponte Baires FC. After having played for 29 minutes, Nicasio Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Electroencefalografista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Ricart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ponte Baires FC's Feliberto Pio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ponte Baires FC from getting a goal against them. Romulo Mouricio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bernabe Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustacio Igon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Ruy having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Electroencefalografista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Urtsua to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Ponte Baires FC's Cirilo Jerold broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Ponte Baires FC's Feliberto Pio got control of the ball when Nicasio Ricart tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustacio Igon made a kick off. Electroencefalografista's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicasio Nesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Pio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicasio Ricart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Electroencefalografista's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Igon came free, but Bernabe Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romulo Mouricio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Bernabe Ruy made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Ponte Baires FC's Eustacio Igon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernabe Ruy. Bernabe Ruy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ponte Baires FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
