Sportivo Binario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Edur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Arraga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Edur came free, but Benito Elodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aquilino Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Gagriel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Gagriel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Elodio having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Sportivo Binario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Medardo to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Bordat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Macerio having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Humberto Daunte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Abel Gagriel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Arraga FC's Benito Elodio. Benito Elodio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sportivo Binario's Rigoberto Macerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Bordat in the 33rd minute of play. Rigoberto Macerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Elorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Patricio Lorien left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arraga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Aquilino Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Sportivo Binario's Humberto Daunte got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Fulgencio Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Rigoberto Macerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Arraga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Gagriel came free, but Benito Elodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Bordat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rene Elorri came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Arraga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Elorri couldn't finish the play. The Arraga FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
