When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Inocencio Iturri sped through Lomitas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anibal Burni. After a rather tough play, Lomitas's Leo Celio got a free kick in the 31st minute. Inocencio Iturri took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anibal Burni. Anibal Burni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Inocencio Iturri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Burni having to interfere. Inocencio Iturri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulino Frechoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonides Chaime made a kick off. Justo Chan might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Burni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Chan ran back to his position shaking his head. If Inocencio Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Burni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Iturri's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Inocencio Iturri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Anibal Burni skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Elpidio Rutenio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Chaime in the 61st minute of play. Anibal Burni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Iturri's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. A hard shot 71 in the game by Inocencio Iturri from a close distance when the talented Anibal Burni managed to make a qualified save. Lomitas's players were relieved. Teodosio Frederico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes Lomitas got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Anaya. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inocencio Iturri in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anibal Burni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anibal Burni came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Plomer's Inocencio Iturri. But to his dismay, Inocencio Iturri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Plomer's attentive Gervasio Theobald managed to snatch the ball when Elvio Lucado made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. Inocencio Iturri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Burni having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lomitas's zone, Paulino Frechoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Burni came out of the goal and Paulino Frechoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
