Dante Ubarna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Burni having to interfere. Leonides Chaime received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Nereo Guillerme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute of the match Denis Herena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nereo Guillerme skillfully saved the ball. In the 14th minute, Bonifacio Osmundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anibal Burni was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Laminador FC booed when Lomitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Cordera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Laminador FC's Natalio Senin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Chaime in the 21st minute of play forced Laminador FC's goalkeeper Nereo Guillerme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Quintun kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Laminador FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Anastasio Kemen hit a great ball. Leonides Chaime struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Nereo Guillerme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lomitas. When Diego Baudelio came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Lomitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Baudelio couldn't finish the play. After 40 minutes, Natalio Senin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laminador FC and the Lomitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Laminador FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Lomitas. Denis Herena stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nereo Guillerme. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dante Ubarna made a kick off. Leonides Chaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Guillerme having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Laminador FC's Pascual Mendebal got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute of the match, Leonides Chaime tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nereo Guillerme saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 61st minute, Dante Ubarna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anibal Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Osmundo in the 66th minute of the match. Anibal Bazil kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Lomitas's Anibal Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Osmundo in the 68th minute of play. Anibal Bazil charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anibal Bazil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, Anibal Bazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Baudelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Guillerme having to interfere. Dante Ubarna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anibal Burni having to make a save. Nereo Guillerme came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lomitas's Diego Baudelio. But to his dismay, Diego Baudelio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lomitas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
