A very good chance for a goal. Adrian Vermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Iturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inocencio Iturri in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Vermudo saved Deportivo Español from getting behind. After some careless play in the Deportivo Español defense, Inocencio Iturri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Vermudo. The Deportivo Español fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Vermudo should have stopped the shot. After having played for 17 minutes, Federico Regis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Español's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Regis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Español's zone, Inocencio Iturri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Vermudo came out of the goal and Inocencio Iturri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Inocencio Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Inocencio Iturri sped through Deportivo Español's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adrian Vermudo. Paulino Frechoso struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Adrian Vermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plomer. In the 29th minute, Gaston Richie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervasio Theobald hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Deportivo Español's Faustino Euloxu got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulino Frechoso hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Inocencio Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Plomer's Inocencio Iturri got a free kick in the 37th minute. The supporters of Deportivo Español booed when Plomer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Iturri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Plomer's Paulino Frechoso got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Vermudo came out of the goal and Inocencio Iturri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inocencio Iturri to strike the kick off in the second half. Plomer's attentive Gervasio Theobald managed to snatch the ball when Jeremias Casomiro made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. 61 minutes into the game, Paulo Distiratsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Español's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plomer the free kick. In the 64th match minute, Plomer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Omero to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonathan Hermelando kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrian Vermudo. That made the score 0-3 in the 69 minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Inocencio Iturri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Español's Adrian Vermudo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Inocencio Iturri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Deportivo Español getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Vicente Lauro hit a great ball. With his leg Adrian Vermudo managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Plomer's Inocencio Iturri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Plomer's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
