Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Federico Regis came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Deportivo Español fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Regis couldn't finish the play. In the 17th match minute, Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Lauro to maneuver through the defense. When Dante Ubarna got free in front of the goal in the 19th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Adrian Vermudo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Nereo Guillerme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Regis in the 22nd minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Ubarna came free, but Adrian Vermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Regis in the 32nd minute of play forced Laminador FC's goalkeeper Nereo Guillerme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Ubarna struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Adrian Vermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laminador FC. Faustino Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascual Mendebal during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Laminador FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Mendebal to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Octavio Chano suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 43 minutes, Anastasio Kemen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laminador FC and the Deportivo Español players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Laminador FC's zone, Federico Regis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Guillerme came out of the goal and Federico Regis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Regis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Dante Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Laminador FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Anastasio Kemen hit a great ball. Nereo Guillerme acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Martin Raymundo. Bonifacio Osmundo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Vermudo having to make a save. Federico Regis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Laminador FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Ubarna. If Gaston Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vicente Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Guillerme having to interfere. When Pascual Mendebal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. In the 78th match minute, Laminador FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Mendebal to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Deportivo Español's Federico Regis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nereo Guillerme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nereo Guillerme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Regis in the 87th minute. A collision led to Laminador FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Genaro Camerino hit a great ball. The Deportivo Español players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Laminador FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
