Silverio Gines didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Palavecino's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Harriet came free, but Astor Foro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lázaro Dantae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Astor Foro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Harriet in the 17th minute of play forced Palavecino's goalkeeper Astor Foro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Porfiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Alfredo Evangelista skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 27 minutes into the match, CATISTIM FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Evangelista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Porfiro. Fernan Harriet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CATISTIM FC's Alfredo Evangelista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save CATISTIM FC from getting a goal against them. Palavecino's Astor Foro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Dantae in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Urko during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Palavecino's Eliseo Urko got a free kick in the 39th minute. Astor Foro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Dantae, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Florencio Hitz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of CATISTIM FC's Alfredo Evangelista. Alfredo Evangelista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Flavio Porfiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Hitz was the one to do the kick off. Fernan Harriet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Astor Foro having to make a save. Astor Foro came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by CATISTIM FC's Lázaro Dantae. But to his dismay, Lázaro Dantae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Astor Foro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Kusko in the 57th minute of play. If Lázaro Dantae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute of the match Dario Foro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Evangelista skillfully saved the ball. Alfredo Evangelista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Hitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Fernan Harriet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Hitz struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Alfredo Evangelista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palavecino. In the 95th minute, Flavio Porfiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
