Leo Vincente's late challenge caught a Racing Club de Avellaneda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Vincente helped the player get up and apologised. Leo Vincente kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Hornillos AFC's Damian Milio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Leguizamón in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Tomas Solustiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hornillos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Solustiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Dolfo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the game, Sebastian Iratze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club de Avellaneda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hornillos AFC the free kick. Sebastian Iratze hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Bartolo Illarts short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Esteban Dolfo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 38 minutes, Bartolo Illart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hornillos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Illart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Bartolo Illart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Dolfo was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Javier Cordarius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Milio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Illart to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Hornillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Illart. Javier Cordarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Damian Milio made a huge save. Esteban Dolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Illart in the 56th minute of play. Bartolo Rosio kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolo Illart in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteban Dolfo saved Racing Club de Avellaneda from getting behind. The supporters of Racing Club de Avellaneda booed when Hornillos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Illart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban Dolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Illart in the 70th minute of the match. Hornillos AFC's Bartolo Illart got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th match minute, Racing Club de Avellaneda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Rosio to maneuver through the defense. Racing Club de Avellaneda's Esteban Dolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Illart in the 77th minute of play. Bartolo Illart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Dolfo having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Racing Club de Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Albano Quinton. Bartolo Illart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Esteban Dolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteban Dolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Foro in the 91st minute of the match. Esteban Dolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Illart in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Racing Club de Avellaneda players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hornillos AFC.
