Cieneguita's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Orlando Salomon in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Robustiano Todor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cieneguita's supporters rose to their feet, but Robustiano Todor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Foro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Palavecino's zone, Hipolito Ubelteso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Foro came out of the goal and Hipolito Ubelteso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palavecino's Astor Foro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Todor in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Teo Inautzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Foro was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Severino Hondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Hitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Astor Foro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hipolito Ubelteso charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hipolito Ubelteso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cieneguita's Hipolito Ubelteso got a free kick in the 42nd minute.
