In the 40th minute, Bartolo Illart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Tomas Solustiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florencio Hitz made a kick off. Bartolo Illart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Astor Foro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Hitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silverio Gines made in the 63rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Urko. Damian Milio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Hitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Bartolo Illart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Astor Foro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Filomeno Handi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Astor Foro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rafael Fe fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hornillos AFC's protests and gave Rafael Fe a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hornillos AFC's Rafael Fe got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Florencio Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Bartolo Illart notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Palavecino's Astor Foro. Astor Foro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Astor Foro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Illart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Florencio Hitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Bartolo Illart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hornillos AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
