CATISTIM FC's Lázaro Dantae got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Efrain Umbruso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Alfredo Evangelista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Umbruso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Gaboto getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Luisito Federigo hit a great ball. Lázaro Dantae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efrain Umbruso might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Evangelista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Efrain Umbruso ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Gaboto's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Harriet came free, but Artemio Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Blas Gil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CATISTIM FC's Alfredo Evangelista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Efrain Umbruso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lázaro Dantae struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Artemio Rodas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CATISTIM FC. 39 minutes into the game, Pablo Cresencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gaboto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CATISTIM FC the free kick. CATISTIM FC's Fernan Harriet got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Fernan Harriet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blas Gil was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Efrain Umbruso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Alfredo Evangelista made a huge save. Blas Gil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Evangelista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Lázaro Dantae ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artemio Rodas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Artemio Rodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Dantae in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaboto's goalkeeper Artemio Rodas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the CATISTIM FC defense, Blas Gil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Evangelista. The CATISTIM FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Evangelista should have stopped the shot. The supporters of CATISTIM FC booed when Gaboto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Federigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Lázaro Dantae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CATISTIM FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
