After having played for 17 minutes, Efrain Umbruso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaboto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Umbruso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Efrain Umbruso came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Americo Gutierrez could save by the left post. 44 minutes into the match, Villa Alonso SR's goalkeeper Americo Gutierrez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efrain Umbruso.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas Gil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisito Federigo in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Americo Gutierrez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luisito Federigo scored 3-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Americo Gutierrez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Efrain Umbruso charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Umbruso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Efrain Umbruso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Villa Alonso SR players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gaboto.
