Eustacio Lixandro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Porfiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Palavecino defense, Urbano Segio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Foro. The Palavecino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Foro should have stopped the shot. If Flavio Porfiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palavecino's Astor Foro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Ruisko in the 39th minute of play. Crespo AFC's Urbano Segio got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Alvaro Argi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Iruinea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Astor Foro. Palavecino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Astor Foro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Ruisko in the 52nd minute of the match. When Florencio Hitz came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Palavecino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Hitz couldn't finish the play. Astor Foro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Segio in the 68th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, one of Palavecino:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Urbano Segio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Ruisko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Astor Foro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Crespo AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Victor Mazuste hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Felix Macias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palavecino's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. With a little luck, Crespo AFC's Eustacio Lixandro got control of the ball when Flavio Porfiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Crespo AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
