In the 12th minute Marciano Intxixu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Gergori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Salomone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Palos in the 17th minute of the match. Jonas Lartaun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benigno Salomone having to make a save. In the 22nd minute, Dante Oliverio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PunkRockers Unidos's Hernan Gergori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save PunkRockers Unidos from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes in the game, Marciano Intxixu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hernan Gergori having to interfere. Casimiro Firman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Hernan Gergori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Paulino Palos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benigno Salomone was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Firman got free with Hernan Gergori in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Los Monos's Edgard Gartzen got a free kick in the 42nd minute. If Paulino Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Gergori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casimiro Firman in the 46th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Palos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Hernando hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Casimiro Firman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Monos's Ruperto Pirro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PunkRockers Unidos. Hernan Gergori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Firman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Lartaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Salomone having to interfere. PunkRockers Unidos's Hernan Gergori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Intxixu in the 88th minute of play. Hernan Gergori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Firman in the 93rd minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, Casimiro Firman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Hernan Gergori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Los Monos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
